Itinerary

Day 01

Guwahati to Shillong

  • Start the journey from Guwahati towards Shillong, famously called 'Scotland of the East' (100 km 4 hrs).
  • Enroute visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills.
  • On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel and relax.
  • Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 02

Shillong to Cherrapunji

  • After early morning breakfast, check out of our hotel and head towards Cherrapunji.
  • En route, visit the Nohkalikai waterfall which is the tallest plunge waterfall in Meghalaya with a staggering height of 1,115 ft.
  • You will also visit the Garden of Caves, near Cherrapunji, which is a naturally decorated wonderland with caves, rocky hills, waterfalls, streams, and lush.
  • Upon arrival in Cherrapunji, check into the hotel and unwind.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 03

Cherrapunji Sightseeing

  • After early morning breakfast, visit the Seven Sister Falls which is a seven-segmented waterfall stretching along a rocky cliff.
  • Afterward, you will be visiting one of the most notable landmarks in Cherrapunji which is the Mawsmai Caves.
  • Then you will head towards Nongriat village and start our trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
  • Afterward, you will head back to the hotel followed by overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 04

Cherrapunjee - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Shillong

  • After breakfast, visit the "Cleanest Village" and the Living Root Bridge.
  • Mawlynnong to Dawki: Boat ride on Umngot River, see India-Bangladesh border.
  • Dawki to Shillong enjoy drive back with optional photo stops and depart to Shillong.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05

Shillong - Laitlum - Mawlynnong - Shillong

  • After breakfast, visit Shillong to Laitlum Canyons, enjoy breathtaking valley views and indulge in short hikes and photography.
  • While going from Laitlum to Mawphlang, walk through Grove which is going to be 1 hour guided walk through forest.
  • Post walk, return to Shillong.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 06

Shillong - Guwahati

  • After early morning breakfast, check out of our hotel rooms and head back to Guwahati, towards the aiport for your onward journey.
  • The trip ends here.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.
