Day 01

Your adventure begins as you arrive in Guwahati, the vibrant gateway to the Northeast.

Day 02

After breakfast, you head to the mystical Mawphlang Forest, a place where every leaf and stone is protected by ancient tribal beliefs.
A short walk through the David Scott Trail, if you choose, reveals rolling meadows and colonial-era paths.
Post-lunch, the journey continues deeper into the Jaintia Hills, toward the remote Saitsama region, your base for exploring the Krympe Chympe caves.
The road narrows, the landscape grows wilder, and by evening, you arrive at a modest guesthouse near Thlu Amwi — simple, warm, and surrounded by nature.

Day 03

Today is for the explorers.
Inside, time seems to pause — stalactites hang like chandeliers, and underground streams whisper secrets of the ages.
By afternoon, you drive to Jowai.

Day 04

Day 05

Later, you drive to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village. Flower-lined paths lead to the Sky Viewpoint.
By evening, you ascend into the misty heights of Cherrapunji (Sohra). The air grows cooler, the clouds closer.

Day 06

After breakfast, you begin your exploration of Cherrapunji's natural wonders.
First, the Seven Sisters Falls, cascading in parallel ribbons down the cliffs.
Then the Mawsmai Caves, a short but thrilling walk through limestone tunnels, followed by the Single Root Bridge, a living testament to nature's architecture.
By midday, you reach Tyrna village, the starting point of the trek to Nongriat.
You return to your hotel by evening, tired but exhilarated.

Day 07

After breakfast, you begin the return journey to Shillong, but the road is rich with sights.

Day 08

Your final morning begins early. After breakfast, you drive back to Guwahati, descending from the hills with a heart full of stories.
En route, you stop at the revered Kamakhya Temple.
