Day 01

Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Day

  • Arrive in Leh, the capital of Ladakh.
  • Check-in to your hotel and relax to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 02

Leh City Tour

  • Visit Hall of Fame, a museum honoring the Indian Army's sacrifices, you will experience their bravery and dedication.
  • Explore Magnetic Hill, where you will witness vehicles appearing to defy gravity.
  • Visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, a Sikh shrine where you will experience deep spiritual significance.
  • Stop at Sangam Point, where you will witness the confluence of two mighty rivers.
  • Free time in the evening to explore Leh's market and cafes.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 03

Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

  • Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (5,359 meters), you will experience one of the world's highest motorable roads.
  • Stop at Shanti Stupa en route, where you will enjoy stunning panoramic views of Leh.
  • Explore Nubra Valley, located between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges; you will witness breathtaking landscapes.
  • Check in at the hotel in Hunder.

Nubra Valley to Turtuk and Back

Day 05

Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shyok Valley

  • Drive to Pangong Tso via Agam and Shyok villages, where you will witness untouched natural beauty.
  • Marvel at Pangong Tso, where you will see the lake's colours change throughout the day.
  • Enjoy beauty of the lake, surrounded by mountains.

Day 06

Pangong Lake to Hanle

  • Start early (7:00 AM) with breakfast and pack up for the drive to Hanle.
  • Drive through Changthang plateau, where you will witness vast barren landscapes and villages.
  • Arrive in Hanle by the afternoon (around 2:00 PM). Check in at your accommodation.
  • Visit Hanle Monastery, where you will experience a spiritual atmosphere, and the Indian Astronomical Observatory, one of the highest in the world.

  • Return to your guesthouse or homestay for dinner.

Day 07

Umling la Pass Excursion

  • Start early with breakfast and ensure you have enough water, snacks, and warm clothing.

  • Arrive at Umling la Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, where you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Begin the return journey by early afternoon, reaching Hanle by evening.

Day 08

Hanle to Tso Moriri via Chumathang

  • Start early with breakfast and pack up for the drive to Tso Moriri.
  • Stop at Mahe Bridge and Chumathang Hot Springs, where you will witness bubbling hot water in the middle of the cold mountains.
  • Arrive at Tso Moriri by afternoon.
  • Enjoy a leisurely walk along the lakeshore, where you will experience beauty of the blue waters and surrounding mountains.

Tso Moriri to Leh
